Horne Lake is located 18 km (11 miles) west of Qualicum Beach community via Highway 4 and Horne Lake Road.

Vancouver Island can be reached via B.C Ferries from Vancouver through Horseshoe Bay to Naniamo and from Tsawwassen to Nanaimo. It takes approximately 30 minutes north along the new Inland Island Highway from Nanaimo to reach Horne Lake. Take Highway 19, north to the Horne Lake exit

How to get to Oceanside

Oceanside is centrally located on the east coast of Vancouver Island. Whether you arrive by air, land, or sea, you will be treated to a stunning mix of mountain, coastal, and rural scenery. Fly in on direct, regularly scheduled air service from Vancouver International to Nanaimo's Cassidy Airport or Qualicum Bearch, set sail on one of many ferries commuting from the mainland (from Vancouver area to Nanaimo or Victoria, or Washington State to Southern Vancouver Island); drive the new Inland Island Highway and turn onto Highway
19A - the scenic Oceanside Route; take the Vancouver Island/Laidlaw bus, or catch the historic VIA E&N Railiner from Victoria. Qualicum Beach Municipal Airport is home to Parallel Aviation (charter airline) and KD Air which operates regular daily service to and from the South Terminal at Vancouver International Airport. In addition, Air Canada has connections from Vancouver into Nanaimo Regional Airport, just a 45-minute drive from Oceanside.
International travellers who wish to visit Oceanside have two airports choose from. The Victoria International Airport (approximately 2.5 hours from Oceanside by car) serves daily flights from Vancouver International Airport and Seattle-Tacoma Airport, as well as flights from points throughout Canada and the United St ates. Oceanside is a short drive and ferry ride away (45 minute drive and 2-hour ferry) from
Vancouver's International Airport that currently serves 19 major carriers, 11 regional and local airlines, and several charter companies. Americans have a choice of 70 non-stop flights daily from 21 cities in the United States. Direct flights from the United Kingdom, Western Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and the Asia Pacific (Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan) are all offered.
